I find myself coming home, and the first thing I do is flip on the lap-top and see what's new...

usually before anything else

if I can't sleep at night, I'll log onto see what losers don't have a life (then I see my name in the "users on this forum" section)

do you take "time-off" at work???

neglect important things (like yard work, honey-do's, etc)???

have a nagging, burning desire to make sure everyone gets the correct answer to life's most important question???

Sort of, but there isn't enough going on in terms of new posts to keep me connected for long stretches.

Now AR15.com on the other hand has such a fast new thread generation rate that I'm ALWAYS reading from that site when I'm online, in addition to whatever else I'm doing.

Hi. My name is Sisco and I'm a THR junkie.
My morning routine:
Get out of bed, start the computer. Start a pot of coffee, go outside & have a smoke. By the time I come back in the coffee's done and the computer is booted up, check THL & 1911forum. Get ready for work.
The rest of the day I stop by the computer once an hour or so and check new posts.

Seeing as how this board is the first time I've had to 'be around' pro-gun people and actually get to interact with them... well, it's rather overwhelming and yes, addictive finally seeing so many people who like shooting. :D I generally check THR at least once while I'm eating breakfast in the morning, and sometimes later at night before bed.

Just a little addicted... just a little... ;)

Hi, I'm Frank and I'm a THR-aholic. I'm beginning to think I spend more time with ya'll then I do with my fiancee, just hope she doesn't begin to realize it.

A couple nights a week I work 12 hour shifts at a quiet downtown hotel, with nothing to do but browse the web in my office, so I spend a significant amount of time on here. Oh well, it's better than a lot of things I could be doing with my time.

And yes, I do occassionally find several THRisms slipping into my day to day vocabulary, the sign of a true THR junkie.

To find the top posters, you use to be able to visit something like www.thehighroad.org/stats.html or something like that. This worked on TFL at www.thefiringline.com/forums/stats.html or something similar. I cannot remember exactly what it was.

Interesting. Puts my piddly few hundred posts in perspective.

So, who was "#1" at TFL??? IIRC Art had a pretty impressive number. Wish I was that smart to give all those answers. I could I suppose, but they wouldn't be right like Art's.

I'm in school and use on-line resources. I get to class and I have a error on a Excel deal I did. Instructor says lets take a look...did ya know this is NOT a valid formula: fx=(18.5 gr SL) oops...:uhoh:

Good news is he has Superlight pwdr, said the 'formula' patterned great for him.;)

Oh yes. I love THR. I read it everyday. Rarely do I post, but I read it everytime I'm on the web, or even at my computer. Great forum, for gun owners. The best IMO.

I like reading the threads so much that I don't post so that I can read more threads.

Love the picture threads.

Everytime my better half walks past my computer she asks "Are you on that gun board?" I tend to check new posts first thing in the morning, last thing at night, and three to four times during the day. Am I addicted? No, but I'm a lot smarter than before I started lurking at TFL/THR. I've learned: how to replace an extractor on a 1911, that the VM II is a great IWB holster, that the SP-101 is a great little gun, that new brass should be resized, that a staked front sight is fine if done by a competent 'smith...the list could go on and on.
