Wanted to buy a old model bearcat off the internet today,
so I called the firearms dealer in town today and he told me he thinks those are not approved for California.
Said to look it up at the dept. of justice website, but they don't list gun names there, only a jumble of letters and numbers.
Anyone know if this is true? Seems kind of ridiculous to me that a little .22 single action wouldn't be approved for even this tightwad state.

Single actions are exempt from the list. I'd find a new dealer who has a clue what they're doing.
