I bought one in the last 2 months new from a gun store and Mossberg told me it was made in mid-2006, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding a new or used one. Mine new was under $500. I like it a lot.

I work at a range and was looking through our supplier's listings and not finding anything from RSR and Sport South... That sorta suprised me.

Local store has one in stock for 350 or so. I'm an 870 guy, but the 590 impresses me.

$350 for a NIB 590A1 sounds too low. Likely it's a 590 or a used 590A1.

Make sure you specify the 51663 part number for a 590A1, that is the one with the aluminum trigger assembly, the aluminum safety switch and the heavy-wall barrel....
