How long is my barrel?

I've been looking for a holster recently, and I know that some of them are specifically for barrels of a certain length. Measuring the barrel is easy enough, but where do I measure it from? Does the forcing cone area immediately in front of the barrel constitute the start of the barrel, or is it where the barrel meets the frame?

Also you could post a picture of the gun in question, I'm sure any number of people will tell you the length and give you holster suggestions.
