It may be a bit early in the year but what's your favorite "summer carry" pistol. The one you carry when all you have on is jeans and t-shirt? Anybody come across anything new on the market that you think makes the best summer carry weapon?

I wear the same clothes all year round. Typically slacks or jeans with a fashionable button down shirt (more like club going style than business style ), untucked when possible. I just put a coat over them in the winter. No need to change out the P345 from my carry gun in the summer. I'm not a t-shirt guy though. I'm always stylin'. :D

I carry my Glock 23 in a Fobus paddle holster while wearing jeans and a T-shirt all summer long. I'm long and skinny, though, and tend to wear loose T-shirts. That may not work for everyone...

My Favorite "Armed when almost naked" gun is the Keltec P3AT, carries just like a second wallet, I can even go without a shirt with it in my hip pocket. It also fits nicely into the key pocket sewn into some swimsuits, probably not a good idea to actually swim with it in there.

I wear the same thing all year around usally. If it is hot in the summer and I wear shorts I still carry the same thing. Glock 26 in a C.T.A.C.

While this upcoming summer will be my first summer to carry, Mississippi winters have a few weeks of 70 + teperature. I carried a Glock 23 wearing jeans, a t shirt, and a light button down shirt. typically what i wear in the summer. Seems to work out ok.

In AZ, t-shirt weather is 90% of the year. This is why I use a high back holster, to protect the gun, and my skin from chafing, under the large t-shirt. Also, break up patterns in the shirt can assist in concealing. Solid colors will help "print".

It depends on what you wear lol I know smartass answer but its true!

I carry my P3AT in both seasons we have here in Texas (HOT + Rain and Cold + Rain) I sometimes carry one of my other pistols but the P3AT is my usual.

In AZ, t-shirt weather is 90% of the year. Then there are the times (like now) when I, personally, am walking around wearing my heavy overcoat. I could hide an AK-47 if I want to!

Bersa Thunder UC45 in the pocket.

Kimber Compact in a Kramer #2 IWB holster, and when I can't manage that, an NAA .22 revolver in the pocket does the trick.

Essex County...Check the Chromed P3AT

Mine has never failed. They are more reliably because of the chrome and a slightly larger bullet. My police officer freinds and family tell me to carry solids year round, never JHPs.

You know, every now and then I read something that is so obvious once it's pointed out...but that I've never given a single though about previously. I think I need to review my summer shirts.

Back on topic though, Taurus PT-140 year 'round.

And one more vote for the P3AT if concealability is the primary consideration during summer months. I've carried mine when out for the daily constitutional wearing exercise shorts and an UA t-shirt in an IWB clip on holster. ( I have to snug up the drawstring more than normal, but it works.)

If I can wear more clothes, though, it's back to the Kimber Compact CDP in a Blade-Tech IWB.

Kahr MK40 in a Don Hume right front pocket holster. Prefer the winter carry with a jacket and a Para Ordnance 12.45 in a Milt Sparks IWB with the fancy shark skin trim!

Sig P220 in a C.T.A.C. plus a Kel Tec P32 all year most of the time. In the dead of winter I'll often use my Safariland 1090 gun quick shoulder rig because hip carry is a harder draw wearing a winter coat than reaching through the zipper.

PM9 or my 642 - I agree.

Buy the right pants for the DeSantis. I find hiking shorts like at Cabela's with big pockets work quite well.

What gun to carry when you can't carry a gun? Kel-Tec P32. I know, I know, they have the P3AT out now. But I got mine before they'd even dreamed of shoehorning a .380 into a gun the same size. I haven't gotten around to swapping out, or upgrading, yet.

I take that back, I did upgrade. got a 1911.

1911's year round. Barrel lengths may change, but this has nothing to do with the seasons.

p3at all the time. If i have the opportunity to carry something heavier/seasonally, i add a Ruger sp101 .357 to the p3.

I carry a Para Ordnance single stack LDA .45 year round. It's an Officer's Model sized pistol, so it's pretty small. I live in the sweltering South. In summer I carry beneath a loose t-shirt, no problem. Winter carry is, of course, even easier.

It would be nice to have so many guns I could match them to my outfit, kinda like my wife does with her shoes.
