I am planning our 10th annual prairie puppy hunt and we are interested the the Douglas Wyoming area. Can anyone help me out with information as to decent locations, motels, resturants etc.
Much appreciate any help

If you don't get a reply here, you might try Varmint Hunter's Assn website.

I would check this out very close. That area of Wyoming is in the 9th year of a very bad drought. The P'Dogs disappear when we have long dry spells. You should call the local Game Warden and check it out. The Thunder Basin area has been closed for the most part to Dog shoot'in . The White Tails are now a protected critter. You can hunt the Mexican Dogs about any where, and the Black Tails also. The so called Varmint Hunters clubs have about ruined an old western tradition of P'Dog shoot'in.
