Have a model 19 6" for 27 years and still fires well. Usually 38s at range. thinking of the 327trr8 or327m&P8. Any one with hands on with these, and how were they?

I have the TRR8. Not much difference except that both rails are removable and the ejector shroud is see through on the TRR8.

Nice photo. What kind of red dot is that? I think I'll buy one of the 327s tomorrow for this months addition given the CA law and all (1 every 30 days.)

Heck yeah, if **** says you can only have one every 30 days then you hafta make sure that you obey the spirit of the law by buying one gun a month!:D

The optic is a Trijicon Reflex. It's a 1X fiber optic and tritium powered dot sight. I like it. No batteries required.

The gun itself is more of a novelty for me. It has no practical niche in my lifestyle. I guess I'll put it in my Skunkabilly approved bug out bag.;)

on thet trijicon. I got the 327 M&P r8. Am looking at the Aimpoint, but would like something without batteries. the aimpoint can increase dot intensity depending on light conditions. How is yours in bright and dark light and also when looking at a bright zone outside while you are in a shaded area?

No problems at all. The sight comes with a polarizing filter so you can darken or lighten the objective. The 12.5 MOA triangle looks HUGE and is very hard to miss.

On a separate note, my Reflex is a POS as far as durability. It's still with Trijicon after the reticle BROKE while I was shooting 158gr Remingtons 357s. That was only the 2nd time I used the sight. The turnaround for a repair is 10 business days. They've had it for 5. Really disappointed with this so called "tactical" product that they charge serious money for. I should've gotten an Aimpoint.

Snwnme,
Thanks for the info. With the kind of $$ we are talking Fedex should have been at your door the next day with a new one. I guess I'll keep leaning toward the Aimpoint in the low 400.00 range. I'll check out Meprolight and Eotech, but the Aimpoint is sounding like the way I may go. The new ones give 10,000-50,000 hours of operation depending on beam setting, and are supossed to be durable.

Aimpoint also has the Comp C which is about $350 and includes the 30mm ring mount. The difference between that model and the "M" line is probably that the Comp C is not "soldier proof". The battery life is the same as the M3.

with 357 smack I'll prob. go for the ML2. If it were only going on a rifle I'd get the C
