Does anyone have this holster for a revolver?
I would love to see pictures and any comments or opinions you might have.
Thanks.

I have one for my Ruger SP101. The clip is wide and has plenty of room to accommodate just about any belt size. The retention is slightly adjustable, but most of the retention comes from your pants and belt. It is also tuckable and does so with ease. For the price, it does it's job quite well.

Here's a pic, with my Ruger in it:

tantrix,

Thanks!
That's exactly what I wanted to see and know.
BTW does the retention screw cause any problems as far as rubbing on the bottom of the trigger guard (causing wear) and my guess is this holster probably does not stay open without the gun, is that the case?
Thanks again.

Nope, the retention screw runs through an over-sized rubber grommet so it doesn't come near the finish of the gun. It basically just squeezes the leather together under the trigger guard area making for a more snug fit. If the holster is not on you the gun will come out pretty easily though, so be careful. You are right about the 1-handed re-holstering, the holster flattens without the gun in it. After you use it some it starts to mold to the gun a little so it isn't as bad.

Overall I have no complaints, when I first got it I thought the retention wasn't very good but once I put the entire rig on and my pants and belt were tightened around it I had no problems. I really can't think of much more you could ask from it considering the price. They make a thicker version of the Hidden Ally but High Noon told me it does add a considerable amount of bulk to the entire rig so I went with the thinner one.

Have a good one,

is the clip strong enough if I am wearing athletic shorts or do you need to waer a belt? Thanks!
