Being a semi auto pistols owner, part of the fun is to have plenty of mags.
Although loading it might take couple of minutes, but it's a whole lotta fun in the range! :D
still waiting for 4 more Beretta mags in the mail, after that, I'm set.
a bunch of normal 'cap' 92FS and G22 mags.

I thought I was doing well with 4 or 5 per gun. What kind of urban Armageddon are you anticipating?

Especially during the winter. I have 10 Beretta mags that jump between my 92 series pistols, and 8 mags for my P2000. Only have 5 for the AR right now. I buy so many mags so that no matter where I'm at there's a spare. One extra goes on me for carry, one in the car, one in my room, and the rest reside in the range bag. There's also a possibility of another federal AWB, in which case I will have been glad that I stocked up before hand; but mostly it's a convenience issue.

Absolutely! All my guns that regularly go to the range have enough magazines to pre-load 50-500 rounds. Much better to stuff them in air conditioned comfort that while standing around in Houston's heat. Makes shooting the steel plates a total riot.

"Gasp!" - goes the anti-gunners lurking. :D
About them there mags.
Funny thing is I have never forgotten a magazine and therefore not been able to shoot a K Frame or Single Shot .22 rifle. ;)

When you have all your ammo in mags pre-loaded in the range bag, its pretty hard to forget any of them due to the weight :)

I guess you need a lot of mags if you live in a state that doesn't allow Hi-caps. :D

what, you didn't see the beretta mags? :D that's not low cap mister :p
You missed this thread (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=247859)
The 92FS mags seem to have metal followers and base plate, this is probably magnesium component. Slightly make the gun a bit heavier with full 15+1.

Sometimes, the accessories can be more expensive than the firearm  I use to be happy w/ just the 2 stock mags pistols usually come with....then I added to that. Now I have at least 5 mags per & in a couple cases, 10 per firearm...
Nice pic ;)
