my girl friend's grandady has a 'stallard arm's js 9.mm'.
he said he would trade it for my 'new model marlin 60' that's about 2 year's old in great cond.
what's this 9.mm worth?
is it a reliable and acurate gun?

Personally,I'd keep the little Marlin. Handy little gun to have around for various needs.

That is the early edition of the Hi-Point. I don't know if they Hi-Point company would still support it. I have a Hi-Point that I like to shoot, but I wouldn't make this deal.

I would trade it only if you want a handgun. You can take the handgun and send it directly to the manufacturer (hi point) and they will in turn send you a new one with a polymere frame and updated everything as they are warrantied for lifetime regardless of fault. they are accurate and look alot like a glock.

I'm tempted to ask - does your gf's dad like you? and just how much do you like this girl.? Maybe your question's not the relavent one to ask. ;) ;)

I think New_geezer is on to something there. It's an inexpensive 22 for a total cheap-o gun, but you only get so many shots at scoring points with a girl's granddad. I say go with what granddad wants.
