Price/quality check on Chinese Tokarev?

Hi, all. I've been offered a Chinese Tokarev, caliber 7.62x25, in fair to good condition. It's got two magazines and the Chinese-issue leather holster (with slot for spare magazine) and shoulder strap. Asking price for the lot is $195.00. Is this a good price? Is the Chinese Tokarev a reasonable example of the breed? I don't know these guns at all, so I'd appreciate the advice of those who do.

Many thanks in advance for the feedback.

Pass Preacher, way too much....SOG has Polish ones for $129. The last Chinese Tok I got I paid $50 for.

They are OK guns although somewhat primitive in a commie third world way :)

I agree with WildAlaska, way too much for a used Norinco
(or even a new one). On the other hand I would pay that
much for an excellent Polish Tok. The superior quality of
the Polish Tok is unmistakeable.

I paid $137 for a 98% Norinco TU-90, four mags, and seven boxes of ammo. The blue is deep and dark, if a bit uneven. The gun is combat accurate, and a hoot to shoot. It has been jam-free through 800 rds of S&B and milsurp ammo.

I like it a lot, but I think the price you quoted is high.
