H&R 9 shot .22 top break "Expert"

This is a long bbl version of H&Rs medium frame 22 Special. Does anyone know if the brass front sight is press fit and/or soldered in? I don't want to heat it unless I have to and I have to remove it to hot blue the gun. Sure would appreciate any help.

After some thought, I'm now going to answer my own question. George, you can't be too bright. The brass sight can go into the blueing salts with no problems with either the sight or the salts, so don't take it off the gun. :)
