I've been looking at the Taurus Millenium Pro PT140 .40 S&W. There isn't as much feedback on this gun here as there is for the PT145. I would probably opt for the 145 except I've got a good amount of reloading supplies and ammo left over from my only other .40, a POS .40 AMT Backup I'll probably trade in.
The reviews on the new generation of 145s seem appear to be mostly positive. Just wondering if the 140 is as good. Reliability is my #1 concern.

I love my PT140 MilPro. I shoot it almost every week and have yet to have any problems whatsoever. From what I read and exchange with other owners, these guns are just as well made as the 145. Great gun and a great price.

I've owned my Taurus PT-140 Pro since January of last year, so far I have fired over 1200 rounds out of it. This pistol is flawless, no malfunctions, accurate, great ergonomics, its a great pistol. Buying mine is one of the best pistol buys I have made. I'd highly recommend it!:D

my wife loves her PT140, I carry a 145, read my comments in the PT145 thread. As a reloader be aware however that the PT140 has an unsuported chamber like the Glock does (so does the pt145 but .45 ACP is a lower pressure round) Ya must MUST follow the same precautions as loading for a Glock .40 with stock barrel, I do seperate her brass from the brass fired from my other .40s that do have fully supported chambers, Brass from the 140 is always bulged at the case head just like a glock and while the sizing die will smooth it out the case will eventually crack causing case head seperation.......... Same problem with reloading for a Glock BTW. if ya want to do alot of reloads I'd suggest the pt145, hell a set of $19 lee dies and your set..
