Dillon Square Deal B in 38 Spec
First get a couple of good loading manuals and read the stuff on reloading
Or get the book ABCs of reloading and read it.
Main components of reloading
Brass, I like Win but I mostly use range pickups.
Bullets, 158gr LSWC are a good place to start
Primers, I like Federal
Powder. Read and find what you want, I like Win 231,
Equipment needs
Dies for the caliber you want
Scale
Press
I like a seperate priming tool and use a RCBS hand primer.

Tolly you can't go wrong spending a couple weeks reading and going through the motions in your mind. ABC's of Reloading is a good place to start.

For 38 spec I like using Trail Boss under a Speer LSWCHP for target loads with Win Sm Pistol Prmers, as well as Win 231 for 125 JHP with CCI primers. As far as equipment I used a Rock Chucker, but was just given a Square Deal B. Both do a good job. do alot of reading as preciosly stated. I have the Speer, Sierra and Lyman manuals. Good luck

something I reccomend for new pistol/revolver reloaders is to stay with a bulkey powder...avoid things like Bull's Eye where a dangerous over charge looks just like the regular load while peering down the case
