I put them on my 642...works great. Barami grips are the aftermarket ones with a built-in belt hook.

Yep!

2" SS Taurus 850.

Primary way to carry. One you get used to it you'll never know its there.

Holds firmly and can be adjusted w/o serious hassle.

I always thought those looked interesting. Unfortunately I don't think they make them for the SP-101, and I know they don't make left handed version.

LSW's Charter Bulldog came with a set. OUCH! :fire: Handy for concealed carry, switch 'em out for the range...

When Dad was plainclothes on the Detroit PD his preferred carry technique, was, in fact, a S&W Chief's Special w/Barami's.
He also preferred a 12 gauge when he needed a gun...:p

A S&W J-frame with a Barami Hip Grip, coupled with a Tyler T-Grip adapter, is an excellent combo IMHO.

Two of my carry options involve a Barami Hip-Grip.

S&W 340Sc - Summer carry.

S&W 640 - Winter carry.

Great little item.

I carried the Hip Grip on a M37 with Pachmayr grip adaptor for several years. It looks slightly awkward, but really doesn't stick out much further than the cylinder. I carried the Airweight more in an ankle holster than at my waistband but it was nice to be able to pack it with no holster at all.

Best,
Johnny

The thing I particularly like about the Barami grips is that they can be worn with just about anything. Jeans, shorts, sweats all work well. Provides a safe, secure, and, above all, really light carry. Surely recommend them for J-frame carry. Good shooting;)

Have used them on my Colt Agent and M-65 S&W. I really like them on the little Colt. Pretty nice on the 357 too but it gets awful hard on the hand, in recoil.

They need to do more with this concept. They need to offer it on a wider range of guns and make a rubber version.

They also should run some ads for them. Seems like nobody knows they exist.

I'd buy them if they made them for me and the rest of the 14% of the population that are southpaws. :( I'd want a Tyler T-grip in there, too, at least on my 940 . . .

I tried them on my S&W 649. The first time I used them the gun fell out as I got out of my car. It took a few hours of polishing to repair the scratches.
They were immediately removed and are now in my re-loading room.
I ended up with a set of Crimson Trace & they suit my purpose,
John
