Ebay. :)

Seriously. You're posting in the handloading forum. Those that shoot .40 and .45 are (like I am) likely hoarding their own.

Welcome to THR

I have about 100 rounds or so of 40S&W once fired brass. I don't have a 40 any more so its yours if you want to pay shipping.

But you cannot have any of my 45 brass... Its mine mine mine all mine!

I haven't bought there but I have heard that ebay has some sources. Have you looked at Midway? I think they carry once fired stuff.

How much are you looking for no prob.? I've never owned a .40 but I have some brass saved from my range pickup that was mixed in with the .45 and I have a slight bit more .45 than I'll ever use. All has been cleaned and the .45 has been sized and belled.

I agree about ebay as long as you don't have to fight somebodies for it.

There's also http://www.patsreloading.com/patsrel/prices.htm

And Hi-Tech Ammo http://www.iidbs.com/hitech.zkb

for fairly cheap on e*bay. I got 1500 for the opening bid of $19.99, plus freight. Net price around $28 total. For .45s, I try to stay under about 5 cents each after factoring in shipping. Last ones I bought netted out at $0.043 each.

But now I have enough I shouldn't need to buy ever again.

Oh, and maybe check your local gun club. After making the above purchase I found I can probably get them from the club for closer to 2 cents each.

Plus one for the brassman. I got 2000 each of .40 & .45. It was reasonable and it was what was advertised. A good guy to deal with. It's all clean and boxed up ready to go. I'm still shooting range brass.

How much .40 brass do you want? I've got about 140 pounds of it, almost all once fired. I was going to sell it to Dan Scharch, or trade it for some of his new brass, but if you're serious, it's for sale. Just let me know.
