Hello to every one here. New to the forum but love these things. I have a .460 s&w on order and need a few questions cleared up. I have looked at every thing i can find on reloading for this hand held howitzer but can't seem to find the information I need. The big question is can the 454 casuell dies be used to reload the .460. Starline brass says there cases work best with the 454 dies but wasn't sure if there was enough adjustment on the dies for proper case sizeing, bullet seating and crimping.Has any one done this. A friend has the lee 454 casuell dies and thought if i could use them i could save a little more $ for powder, brass and bullets. I'm allready pretty sure of the loades i will be working up they are starline brass with 46 to 49 grains of H110 toped with 240 grain xtp mag. Not sure on primers yet will test them out as i go along with diffrent powder charges. Any information would be helpfull. If any body has any knowledge on these loads or have worked up some of your own give a holler. I can't wait for friday when the gun is to be at the store to hold and to caress it I think the wife may be sleeping on the couch and the new baby may be useing her pillow in bed lol. Thanks for any help and look forward to the forum.
