so I'm out minding my own business, when the 5 students from http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24568
this thread were in front of the train station.
I walked up, and stared them down. A reporter asked if I had a few words to say to them. (it's like asking, does Tamara have guns?) :D
I gave it to them, both barrels.
I told them, what they did was pathetic, and what they are doing now, even more pathetic. I told their parents that they need to take responsible for the actions of their kids as well, instead of blaming everybody but their kids.
<THR>
I said "I am an America who owns guns, American gun owners value responsibility and integrity, of which you boys lack. I know it is something that is asked of me when I became a gun owner, I am sure that was asked of you when you entered the academy. Like the general said, if I can't trust you with a pencil, how in the world can I trust you with a gun?"
</THR>
I also gave a thumbs up to soldiers. I said "Soldiers have a job, and that's to protect a country. The last thing they need, is to have cheaters all around them. What if their job was to learn how to use a weapon, and when the time came, they said "Sorry, I don't know how to use it, I cheated on the test". Do you think the enemy will give you a second chance? Do you think people like that are qualified to be called soldiers?"
I said "there are two types of soldiers, those with integrity, and those who are a shame and disgrace to the outfit. What's funny is, I'm sure I don't have to tell you which group you are in."
I told them to suck it up, admit they are wrong, stop playing the victim, take responsibility, and ACT LIKE A MAN, more importantly, ACT LIKE A SOLDIER. I looked each in the eye and said, if they find fault in anything I have said, speak up, I'm willing to listen. None of them would even look me in the eye.
There were about 10 reporters, and so if you happen to be in Taiwan, you'll get to hear me give them a mouthful and a half on the TV news tonight. Nobody had to brass to give them a piece of their mind.
