I've acquired a Navy Arms .44 black powder revolver, believe its the 1851, however it needs a new internal parts kit, and screw kit. I know its not a high-price black powder revolver, but it was my dads and I want to keep it (or get it) in operational condition. Will Cabela's kit fit in my black powder revolver?

Does any have a good link to the assembly/disassembly instructions for the 1851 black powder revolver?

Thanks. I got everything ordered. I sure could still use some directions on how to assemble it again.

In the sticky there is an excellent thread by mec about disassembling a colt with pictures:

And yes the Cabela's repair kit will fit just fine, I even used it to replace parts in my 1860.
