From MSG Kim Breed, a twist damascus neck knife with blue sapphire, going to my sweetie for Valentine's.

She had said my "necklace knife" a forum friend here gave me was so cute, so I thought I'd get one for her...

Nice knife. I once gave my wife a Ghurka knife for Christmas. I did not get the positive feedback I was hoping for. Good thing I also bought her some jewelry.

Heh. I came back from the '05 Blade show with some nice jewelry for her...she was a little disappointed that I hadn't brought her a knife! Anyway, I already got her a nice HI kukuri.

I have other gifts inbound, too...bubble bath and perfume and cuddly bears, oh my. ;)

Good looking knife. Glad Breed got it to you. (He promised me was sending it out to you, but I didn't know it was a V-day present).

Any website where I can see more of his work? I'm a sucker for that style of knife. Also, are these direct purchase only, or does he go through a distributor?

Looks like his domain has expired, but hso can show you some examples of his work...

and, FWIW, Kim Breed's knives not only have incredible balance, as though they had their own energy, they also have an indefinable something else- something maybe most people can't feel, but something I have only felt in a few weapons. I also have a large bowie-style fighter being made by Kim for me. I am trading him Afghan goods worth probably almost $2000 US (cheaper when purchased here, of course), and know I'm getting a bargain.

auschip,

You can get them direct from Kim or from me either one.

Here's an elaborate Breed in carved ivory and damascus.

And a small covert fixed blade (skuffed, but not chipped or dulled, while being stabbed into a steel fire door 3 times to verify it's strength before being sent out:what: )

HSO. Any idea of the cost of the small covert fixed blade that you showed in the pic. Thanks!

About that, I may run a little late.

Seriously, beautiful knife. That is thoughtfulness right there.

The knife arrived today, and I was able to watch her open it on webcam. She loved it. :D
