I need to find a trigger guard assembly (firing mechanism) for a H&R Model 400 pump shotgun. The one I have is cracked completely accross in two places.:banghead:

Try www.gunpartscorp.com for the trigger guard. Their catalog doesn't show the Model 400, but does show the Model 440, which is similar, but the parts might not interchange.

If you can get the trigger guard, you will probably get only the guard itself and have to rebuild it using the old parts.

Thanks for the information but the model 440 is very diferent from the 400 and not interchangable. If you have any other ideas I would certainly appreciate the help.

Try Gun Parts anyway. They often have small quantities of stuff they don't put in the catalog or on their web site.
