Anyone have a pic of the Crimson Trace lasergrips on a 442 or 642 (or equivalent)?

What is the best source for these -- and what is the best price you could expect new?

Thanks for the info.... (not trying to start the great laser debate!)

This link is the lowest price I've seen. (http://www.thunderwear.com/crimson.html) And below is a picture. I want a set of these for my S&W 38-2 also, much nicer than the small stock sights.

cheaperthandirt had them cheaper but then you had to pay a hefty S&H charge. I buy allot of stuff from cabelas and so I used a discount card from cabelas and got the grips for about $158. However $179 is the norm for most j frames. I have the grips on my SP101 and I really like them. If you do get the grips get a copy of the "Shots in the Dark" video, lots of good info on using your grips.

Here is a pic of the larger, rubberized version. They really help with the recoil on this scandium. Got mine from Midway on sale.

I've got both types - and much prefer the overmoulded model where recoil absorbtion is a consideration. The smaller version is of a brittle plastic that I found even worse than some factory grips. But I put 'em on 11 and 12 ounce guns. Larger model working great on Model 340 (357), but smaller relegated to Model 317 (22). An excellent value at prices above.
