Does anybody know if the Pietta cylinders sold by cabelas will work in my Euroarms 1858? If not where can I get a spare Euroarms cylinder?

Don't quote me on this, but I believe it is the Uberti cylinders that work in a Euroarms- not Pietta.

I use a pair of R&D 45 long colt conversion cylinders made for the Uberti in a pair of Euroarms 1858s. They fit and work just fine.

The uberti cylinders work in the EuroArms Remmie ...Pietta`s are too long won`t fit ....a Uberti Kirst cylinder fit my Euro like a glove .

SXS Firearms ..sells the Euro remmies and the parts for them . My Euro remmie cylinder mouths are champfured so they don`t shave lead loading ... I would try SXS first because of this ...Makes my Euro the tightest group shooter out of all the models i own ....and thats one of each ..except the one with the plam tree on it ( Palemetto Arms )

Talk to Phil he's a good guy, they have Euroarms parts, down load their catalog, or ask them to send you one when you buy your cylinder, buy some extra internal parts too. ...Just in Case!

They have brand spanking new Euroarms 58 Remy's Army and Navy too. The army is $207.00 in their new catalog.

Uberti cylinders, R & D Uberti cylinders, and Kirsta Uberti cylinders, work in Euroarms Remy's.
