Heard a rumor last night from one of the Security guards that I work with that Barreta will no longer be sending firearms to gun shops/dealers in California. Is there anyone out htere that can confirm or deny it?

You mean the fictional detective that in real life shot his wife? Or maybe he didn't - as the jury decided?
I don't think Beretta is giving up a large market. But stranger things have happened. Was he thinking of Barrett - who won't do 50 BMG business in CA?

Barrett would be my guess as well. I'm pretty sure they're the only manufacturer who has publically decided to stick it to Commiefornia.

LOL...yeah, should have spellchecked things. Guess that's what I get when typing after being up for over 24 hours. Not a good thing.
Anywho, he said he had gone in to Purchase a Berretta 92 and was told the store was out and they would not be getting more in stock as Berretta was not shipping to Ca any longer.

The shop I frequent is still ordering them and getting them. I doubt Beretta would shoot themselves in the foot by further handicapping themselves in the largest handgun market in the country.
