Tikka T3?

Anybody know much about these? The rumor I've heard is the Whitetail Hunter series is being phased out... but their website (http://www.tikka.fi) doesn't mention it at all.
I had been planning to track down a left-handed .308 Whitetail Hunter for general purpose use. Should I wait and see, or is the new rifle basically equivalent to the old one?
Anyone? :)

Ullr,
You may have found the answer to your question by now, if not... I called Beretta USA last week as I also had the same question except for a right handed 308. The gentleman I spoke with said that the M595 would still be made in left-hand models. They quit making the right-handed M595 in the fall of '02 except for the Varminter. The T3's which are replacing the M595's will be out in March '03. One would think that Tikka would have a link to tell all about their new model but I guess not.

Their website still has no mention of the forthcoming T3. Anybody have any solid info? Folks at the SHOT Show? Anyone? Bueler? :)
