Anyone use a King's 1911 ambi-safety?

Can anyone tell me how wide the paddles on King's standard ambidextrous thumb safety are? I called King's about it and all the guy would say is that they are wider than normal but not super wide. He wouldn't or couldn't tell me the actual width.
