Could someone please tell me the difference(s) between a Ruger Single-Six and a Ruger Super Single-Six? :confused:

At one time the Single Six revolvers had fixed sights, although the rear one was fitted in a dovetail and could be moved right or left with a punch. The Super Single Six had an adjustable rear sight, and the front sight was mounted on a ramp. The adjustable sights are particularly helpful if you use both .22 R.F. and .22 WMR cylinders where the two cartridges may not shoot to the same point of aim.

I have a Super (although it doesn't say "Super" on it) with Long Rifle and Magnum cylinders made in 1967. :cool:

Anyway you'd be best off buying the version with adjustable sights, reguardless of what he calls it. ;)
