Ruger MK III trigger not resetting positively

I have a MKIII competition with the Volquartsen hammer and sear. The trigger is not reseting positively and sometimes failing to reset. I detail stripped the gun and cleaned everything and it helped, but it still isn't positive enough for my taste. Which spring would I have to replace to fix this? The sear spring or the spring in the trigger? I think it is the spring in the trigger, the spring looks funny, the coils at either end have been crushed flat.

If I'm not mistaken, the new Volq. Mark III trigger has a pre-travel adjustment. If this is the case, it sounds like the screw is too far out. Add some pre-travel by tightening the screw a little.

I don't think the end coils have been crushed flat; they were made that way deliberately. If you are not getting reset, I would look at the new parts, not the trigger. It sounds like the new sear is just a tad oversize (they are made that way so they can be fitted) and not allowing the sear bar to pop back up. Look at the part of the sear the bar engages and I think you want to stone just a bit off that (not off the trigger bar).

That doesn't mean you might not need to replace the trigger spring as well, but I don't think that is where your problem is.

Kruzr's advice is good also, but you didn't mention replacing the trigger, only the sear and hammer, so I assumed the trigger was original Ruger.
