I sent my application off on Jan. 24th and had the license on Feb. 5th!

I have been assimilated into the C&R collective.

I told my wife I was getting a C&R license and she said oh thats nice honey, you will enjoy that. She doesn't know what is coming...

My check was cashed in June of last year. After Christmas I sent them a letter, politely, asking what is taking so long.
Got a phone call in the middle of January apologizing for the long wait and got the license a week later, around January 22.
"Staffing changes", "paperwork shuffling", blah, blah, blah.
I thanked (profusely) the lady who called.

My application was received Dec. 29 in Atlanta. The check was processed through the bank that day. I called them today (Feb. 6) and was told my application was still being "processed" and that "processing" could take up to 90 days.
They can "process" my check in 1 day but need up to 90 days to "process" my application? Isn't our government great? :barf:

Just an update for everyone.. mine had went out on Jan 17. I got the C&R in the mail today! No info packet yet.

My American Express Card was charged on February 1 and I received my C&R FFL today (Feb 16).

20 days from the time they charged my card . Thought it would take longer . Wife did an eye roll when i got it in the mail and proceeded to break out in a big smile . Already paid for itself with my first purchase (CZ52) . No more transfer fees!:D

Does anyone have the telephone number to follow up on status of application. They took my money on 2/10/07 and I am still checking the mailbox on a daily basis.
