Webley moon clips

I've come into possession of 2 6rd .45ACP moon clips that I believe were for use with a Webley .455 that sold at a recent auction. This brought me to the question of how "interchangeable" moon clips are. Are they more or less flexible than speedloaders in regards to how many models they can accomodate?
BTW, if anyone needs moonclips, I have two for sale ;)

As far as I know there is only one pattern of .45 ACP clip (Not including the 5-shot Taurus.) The WW I half moon clip served both S&W and Colt 1917 revolvers and just happened to be close enough for Webleys with the rear of the cylinder faced off to clear. Current manufacture full moon clips have the same slot spacing and will work in the same guns even though S&W is the only company still making guns for them.

If the Webley has not been altered, moon clips cannot be used. If it has, then it can be used ONLY with .45 ACP and ONLY with moon clips. Trying to use .455 ammo will result in way excessive headspace and other problems. Trying to use .45 ACP ammo without clips will result in the rounds falling too far into the chamber and with no case support because there are no sharp shoulders in the chambers for the .45ACP mouth to rest on.
I might also note a pressure concern. Standard .45ACP has a pressure higher than the standard for the .455. Use of the former ammo should be kept to a minimum unless light handloads are used.
