I posted this same thing in the general disc. Sorry I didn't look far enough down the page. I have heard that Smith & Wesson is bringing back the Mod. 29. if so does anyone know what barrel length they will be offered in? I had a mod. 29 in 10-5/8 in. It was a silhouette mod. One hell of a gun at 150yds. Thanks for any info on this gun .:confused: :confused:

Check out the Smith & Wesson web site for all you need to know about the new Smith's. BTW, in the last two weeks,I'v purchased two new Lew Horton Model 29's, one blue, one nickel. Both very nice. :)
