A new place to hunt

My hunting buddy from Waco called yesterday to ask me what I thought of a Browning B80 shotgun. He'd found one for $400, decent deal I reckon. So, we talked. He's found a lease, $1200 TOTAL, not per gun, for something like 800 acres I THINK somewhere around Mexia (pronounced Mah hay ya), you've probably heard about it since it's the town where the blond bimbo (Anna Nicole Smith) grew up. He says there's deer, hogs, and geese (it's on the Navasota river) there. On that river bottom there are also mallard and wood duck, I know, 'cause I've hunted the Navasota out of College Station before when I was an Aggie student. It sounds fantastic. I told him if he needed another gun, let me know. He said don't worry about it, I'm his guest.:D

I don't know what he's going to want to set up for feeders and such, but I may take a stand and feeder up there if he wants. I have two down on my place right now and need to bring one feeder and one stand home anyway for maintenance. I will likely do that Sunday. Anyway, I always get hyped with a different chunk of land to hunt.:D
