I'm looking for a decent 1911 5" IWB Holster to buy ASAP. I'm looking for something like the Milt Sparks VersamaxII, Galco NSAII or something similar. I have my CCW license coming in soon and I'd like to start carrying right away. I understand there's usually a several week wait for a good holster, but I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a good product that is typically available for immediate shipping...and something for less than a hundred bucks.

Look in the "Buy, Sell or Trade Gun Accsy. section of this and other gun forums and you'll probably find what you are looking for.

Call Coal Creek Armory and tell Anthony to sell you a Gary Bromeland Max Con V.

I ordered my 4th Sparks holster (2nd VMII) yesterday and was told it would be 17-20 weeks. My last VMII arrived in 18 weeks.

They can be found once in a while from the few Sparks dealers on the Sparks website. You can always do what I did which was order the VMII, buy a SS2 from Brownell's. When the VMII arrives, keep the SS2 as a back up or sell it and get most of your money back.

Try raftersgunleather.com. They usually have a IWB for the 1911 in stock.

URL for lightning arms is http://www.lightningarms.com/products.htm

They stock Galco, Del Fatti, Alessi & Milt Sparks. Several posters on the Beretta forum have reported excellent service.

Call Jeff @ Rocketman Holsters, 225-262-7446. Get a "LowRider" IWB Kydex for $50+shipping. Should have it by end of week. Conceals well, easy on and off. Love mine for my G-19 and I have a "bad back". Good dude, too.

Welcome to CCW.
