I have a folding pocketknife I acquired a few years back at an antique store. I know there is little chance of it being identified, but I want to ask just in case. It's kinda rusted and hard to read, but on the bottom part of the blade, It seems like there's a lampost with three lines of lettering around it. Each line is a word split in half by the thing that looks like a lamp post. Now, I'm not sure about it, but this is what I made out of the lettering.
Line 1: Richards(line 1 was the hardest to read, so I'm not sure about this)
Line 2: Sheffield
Line 3: England
The open length is roughly 5 inches, the closed length is about 2.75 inches, and the blade is about 2.5 inches. It came in a nice little leather pouch (which I don't know if it originally came with the knife or if it was bought seperately.)
Now I'm pretty sure about the last two lines because I looked them up on the internet and found that Sheffield, England is known for knife manufacturing. Can anyone help me?
