I hope I'm in the right forum, I'm a newbie here. Forgive me if i'm lost.
Does anyone know if there is a MAJOR difference between the manual for a newer Mod. 700 and an older one? By older, I mean maybe 15 or 20 years.
Remington sent me a manual for the newer models that includes the "J" lock on the bolt, but the 700 I own is MUCH older than the manual. I have a request in at Remington to find the approximate date of mfg. so i hope it won't be too long before I find out the age difference.
If there is no major difference, I'll work with the newer manual, but if there is a major difference, I'll have to search up one that is closer to my model.
