Both the FMJ and JHP work great in my Russian Mak

SilverBear is decent ammo.
My PA-63 doesn't feed the Silver Bear hollow point reliably but no problem with FMJ.

I wouldn't use ammo with bullets heavier than 95gr in the PA-63.

A Mak will eat nearly anything that will fit in the chamber. My PA-93 beater likes Hornady for 1 or 2 mags. Mak likes the Hornady's or Blazers but shoot everything acceptably. I practice with whatever's cheap and carry Hornady's (or Blazer's in the Mak). Carry loads in this cal are always HP's. BTW, Blazer's don't feed well in the PA, mag problems.

Stay safe.

Silver Bear is better than Brown Bear because Silver Bear has a nickel plating on the cartridge case where as Brown Bear uses a lacquered steel case. Sometimes the lacquer can cause a problem when your gun is hot.
