My oldest 870's aluminum trigger guard is starting to look pretty bad, has any one ever refinished one? I am thinking about stripping and airbrushing it with some duracoat, any opinions or first hand experience with refinishing one?

Brownell's sell a spray-on coating specifically for aluminum trigger guards, but most any spray-on coating will work just fine.

The airbrush is the best way to apply it, and gives a smoother, more even coat.
