Did I make a 777 mistake?

I have been using FFg Triple Seven to load .45 Colt and 20 gauge shotgun shells for Cowboy Action shooting. My loads have been working well for me. Today I purchased some more powder and discovered I had bought FFFg instead of FFg. Do I need to adjust my loads? Someone told me the FFFg is more corrosive than FFg :scrutiny: ? So what is the bottom line? I got it for a really good price and the FFFg is all they had. Hopefully I am still in business.

I don't load cartridges with 777 but I don't know of any rason why it won't work in the fff version for you. You may have to reduse the load a little as the fff will have more energy and may alter your groups. But thats the fun of our BP hobby.

I made the same mistake awhile back ..picked up the 3f before i read the warning in the 777 site that says use 2f in cartrages ..I have used the 3f in 45 lc loads ...its very stout ..needs to be reduced somewhat . I`ve since switched back to goex 3f in all my loading and much happier now .
