my firestar 45 pistol has no model marking does any one know why. the mark is supposed to be where the mag goes but its not?

I just looked at one of mine and it has no model markings on it either!!!:scrutiny: Only markings are the Co. name, on the slide, and the serial number on the frame with the caliber marked on the barrel that shows out the ejection port! :)

Mine doesn't have a marking either but the factory manual that came with it says the compact Firestar 45 is designated as the model M-45 .

thank you ! Is their only one model in .45 cal? I am not lucky enough to have manual.
