I use a Lee Carbide Speed die set, for both my .357 magnum and .44 magnum reloading. I use them with the Lee Hand Press. I find these very effective. Since getting the Speed loader, my three die Lee Carbide sets, for my .357 magnum and .44 magnum reloading, sit idle. I recommend the Speed die sets, in .357 magnum, and .44 magnum, for use with the Lee Hand Loader.

Ditto. Yes, Lee's Speed Dies work very well. Factory Crimp Dies do to.

Taliv, check out Lee's web site for a description. Basically, it's an innovative "one die body with seperate parts that do it all" tool for single stage presses. Cost is the same as a single carbide sizing die alone and it comes with a carbide sizing ring as part of the package.
Why they call it "speed" beats me but it does work quite well. I tried one and then bought two more!

i use the lee speed die for my sisters .357 reloads and love it! if you don't plan to load alot of one caliber or if you use a single stage press then they are a very good buy. they save some time buy making it so you don't have to remove the die body from the press. buy one if you have the chance as midway lists them as "discontinued by manuf."
