I'm looking for a smith 51. Seriously. This is a hard one to find. We like smiths a lot but this one is a bugger to find.

About 8 months ago I saw one with a 6" barrel IIRC, LNIB in a local shop where I have found great deals on S&W revolvers. It had the blue Bangor punta box. It was being purchased by a fellow collector, and had only been in the display case about 2 hours!! The price was $700 :what: Quite expensive compared to the LNIB model 22-4 which I recently purchased in the same store for $489.
So they are rare and apparently expensive.

The only one I have seen sold in my local shop recently for $550. Good luck with your search!
P.S. There's one on GA and one on AA right now.
