Remember that Max Barry game? OR How DUers show their colors

I occasionally go back to NationStates after it came up on this site a few months back to look around. Why, I don't know.
It seems that the DU members there are going to regions with libertarian and capitalist bents and taking them over with the UN function of that game.
Then they are ejecting the previous members and blocking the regions from further use.
Somewhere in this tactic, I feel lurks the true agenda and methodology of the leftists.

Go to "world' and search "regions" for "capitalism." I can't seem to post a direct link to it.

I quit after I voted down a gun control proposal
My nation was suddenly plunged into a violent
murder spree with thousands of gun killings.
I was like "yeah right" And my libertarian country without welfare
had thousands of homeless starving people on the street.
It also said I had a powerhouse economy with 0 unemployment.
Go figure. More leftist BS

I don't play anymore either, but I feel that the game keys in to the leftist kind of mentality, so it is more fun to visit and check out their BS. That the DU contingent has banded together to use the UN to establish their dominance over those they disagree with is emblematic of their thinking, which is hardly democratic and a portent for reality.

A portent for reality? This is already going on.
Maybe we should get a group together and use their own tactic against them?

The game is obviously colored by its creator, the author of the book Jennifer Government, the only science fiction novel whose ideology so thoroughly annoyed me that I was unable to make it 25 pages into the book.
Hayley raised her hand. "Why do I get an F for saying capitalizm is good when that's what everyone else says too? It's not fair."
"Hayley, what's not fair is that our society rewards selfishness. That's not fair."
25 pages of this stuff is better than ipecac. Also, if read a page at a time immediately before meal times, it's more effective than Jenny Craig.

Tamara,
Well, you'll sure be happy when George cLOONEY and Steven Soderburg make a movie out of it, since they paid mid-six figures for the rights. Seems capitaliZm is only bad when practiced by non-intellectual, non-elites who don't care more than everyone else and don't know what is good for their fellow man. I hope you didn't BUY the book. Expensive toilet paper.
Triad,
Not worth playing just to turn the tables on the scam. I abandoned that game (except to set up a country in the region FRANCE, that was insulting to Chirac and the francophones there :D ) a long time ago.
