Recomend me a cleaning rod

After having finely got an "interesting rifle" I'm going to need something a little better then my otis pull through kit. I'm in the market for a cleaning rod, must be one piece and the least likely to damage my bore as possible. Also looking for a good bore guide, as well as muzzel guide, as I will be cleaning my M1 with it as well. I've seen $100 bore guides and $75 rods, are they worth it, or is there something a little less budget busting available?

Can't go wrong IMHO with a Dewey rod and bore guide. Whatever rod you get keep it wiped down after each series of passes .

For the M1 you'll want the Dewey 30CF25.
Get the Tipton 30cal jag. You'll appreciate it because it is tapered and will be loose enough with a patch to glide through the bore, yet still tight enough to clean properly.
