I am looking for the "HOLY GRAIL" of chokes. One choke does all, adjustable to compensate for distances to the target and changes of types of ammo brands.I am tired of buying the same spec choke and getting different patterns in search of the best. Where is the R&d, The new innovation, My choke of all chokes? HELP

That would indeed be a "Holy Grail"!
Every barrel I have behaves somewhat differently depending on the choke tube, length, the ammo, shot size, shot hardness, velocity, .....and the list goes on...........
I get tempted to get a fixed choke barrel (probably modified) and just use it for everything. Then I can just focus on ammunition changes. One less variable to consider.
