How did you come to choose the Baer among the other contenders in the class. You know, Nowlin, Wilson, Kimber Custom shop, Brown, etc. I'm not advocating any one over the other either, just curious. We never see much other than Kimber or Wilson around here.

By the way, is it true that the Baer is a full three pounds lighter than the HiPoint?

At first I thought you said that you sold a Hi-Point and bought that 1911 but that can't be right so I take it to mean that you owned the entire Hi-Point company and sold that. That is the only way I can see that you could do that deal.:D

Who did you sell the Hi-Point company to? I heard rumors that Glock was looking to buy it so that they could have a premium line of pistols, kind of like when Ford bought Jaguir. ;)

Nice pistol, hope you have good luck with it. Mr. Baer can build some fine pistols, but some people say he can be a real bear if something goes wrong and he has to fix it.
