On two separate range trips my Red Hawk has bound up BC the rims were scraping the frame. This last time I was using American ammunition .44 Mag, JSP.
I know it was dirt BC when I wiped under the ejector star, it fixed it. Also noticed that there is black gunk on the outside of fired cases.
Any others with similar experiences?

American Ammo is notorious for having lousy quality control. My shooting buddy had 22 out of 100 not fire, we pulled the 22 and found as much as a 3 grain variance, plus clumped powder, out of the 22, 14 would not chamber in his .45 Auto nor in my Smith 25-2. This was all new factory ammo 230 FMJ.

I will not even use the brass for reloading, When I find it, it goes in the scrap bucket.

American is garbage. Buy Miwall instead, it works for me.
