Anyone have any experiences with Tyler T Grip? I ordered a T-Grip for my Colt Police Positive Special Nov 15, 2006. I know that they take time to order them, but I called today and they told me that they didn't have any record of me in their system. :cuss:
I will never do business with them again! :fire:

WOW, that hard to believe since they have always been good to the people i know who have ordered from them. How did you place the order? Do you have a copy of the transaction?

I've ordered about a half dozen from them and never had any troubles. They arent the fastest to get them out, but they also stated that, at least at the time I ordered mine. Took about the month they said for the last couple.

They do seem to be a mom and pop operation, or thats the feeling I got when ordering.

I sent them a check through the mail as well as a printed copy of what I was ordering.

Tempting to wonder whether the post office let you down. Was the check cashed?

I've ordered twice, once by phone and once by internet, IIRC. Both orders came soon and I enjoyed the talk on the phone. Don't write them off so fast, I suggest.

Check with your bank to see if the check has been processed. If it has find out the date it cleared. Then call them back and tell them that they have your money and you want the product or a refund. Advise them that you have posted their service on this site only if your check has cleared. If the check cleared you have proof of your order. If they refuse take them to small claims court and bring the cleared check and a bank representative to testify as to the date the check cleared. They will spend far more defending their inaction instead of shipping you the part.

T-Grips are great, and I've only had good experiences with the company. Give them another chance.

They take a while for what isn't in stock. Anodization, although they say this isn't true, can take up to 4 weeks. Polished Ts have come to me in 5 days. They are only a 2-3 person operation for EVERYTHING so I think the mail is done in batches and they don't chit chat or are forthcoming about their circumstances. BUT the product is great.

I have dealt with tyler's for many years. They are a family run company in Oklahoma City. You couldn't ask for finer folks. They will absolutely stand behind their product and service. If they erred, just show them some evidence of their error and they will gladly make it right. Good folks.
