Hello,
Recently my grandmother gave me my late grandfather's SxS, marked "Central Arms 6012". From googling I know this gun is the same as the Stevens 315 among other names. On the right side of the receiver is stamped: "PAT.APR.20-1915". I am trying to find the patent number for this gun. However, the USPO Patent Database only allows searches by patent number, date, and classification. Unfortunately, I don't think April 20 is the issue date as there are no patents of type 'shotgun' or 'firearm' issued on that day. If anyone has access to a newer model with the patent number, I would be much obliged.
Thanks
