I'm having trouble finding either once fired milsurp 7.62 NATO brass or IMI new cases and IMI ammo. midway is out, the surplus brass/powder guy is out, and I can't find a U.S. importer for IMI. Any help? PLEASE NOTE I'm looking for nato cases not 308 win.

The usual sources for pulldown brass are all dried up (patsreloading and gibrass.com). There's a fair amount of 1x fired floating around here and there. Check ebay. There's a good chance it's been through a machinegun, so you should probably use a small base die to resize it. I'd personally buy Win rather than go that route.

www.scharch.com

100% processed is excellent quality 1x fired cleaned, roll sized, trimmed and primer pocket reamed Lake City brass. Last time I bought it 18 months ago it was $59.99per 500, $117 per thousand shipped!!, The price was up to like $80 per 500 but now its back down again to the above price!!!.

I keep my brass but don't reload YET. I have 100's of once shot Winchester 7.62 NATO brass. If you'd like I'd be happy to make a deal. has the NATO stamp on the cartridge. bought new from midwayusa.com for $99 for 200 rounds on sale through the end of the month.

The advantage of the Scharch brass is that its roll sized, Trimmed, deprimed cleaned to a mirror polish and the primer pockets are swaged. So you only have to deburr it prior to loading.
