I am looking for a good quality scope for a .22 that is not too expensive. This will mainly be use for squirrel hunting. Does anyone have any good recomendations?

I put a Leupold 2-7 variable scope on my Kimber .22 rifle. Sent it back to Leupold and had the parallax zeroed at 75 yds. This fits your request for a good quality scope for .22 rifle but its not exactly inexpensive.
Good shooting and be safe.

I have a Weaver Rimfire classic I'm happy with.

MWenzel;
As you did not put a budget figure on your request, I hope that my suggestion doesn't exceed your parameters that are unknown to me.
I've got several .22 rimfires, from basic to Volquartsen. I've got glass on most of them, as my eyes are no longer young and sharp. My suggestion is to look at the Sightron S1 rimfire 3-9X variable. They seem to be selling for around $110.00 - 120.00 these days depending on who you buy it from & their shipping policies.
I have one of these on a Ruger 10/22 & it's very satisfactory for what I use that gun for. I'd imagine that it would fill the bill for you as a squirrel scope also.

You may want to take a look at Mueller Optics. Quite a few of the fanatics at http://www.rimfirecentral.com swear by them.
I have an APV mounted on a .Savage 93R17BVSS 17 HMR bolt gun and couldn't be happier.
